It's been a very exciting few months for Hudson Scott. The Oxford newcomer appeared in February with the wholly funky, highly attention-grabbing 'Clay' and it seems he's wasting no time keeping up the momentum as last month's 'Whale' has today been followed-up by another gem. 'Gone' is the third and final taste of his debut EP Clay out 22 April and it continues in the brilliantly restless, sonically colourful vein of its predecessors with Jungle-esque guitar work, intricate dancing rhythms and mathsy production all coming together in a wonderfully contagious alt. pop outing. With this flurry of flawless releases behind him, Hudson Scott isn't going to be gone any time soon. -G.O'B
